Irene Franck

Hi, I’m Irene Franck. I’m an integrative psychiatric nurse practitioner based out of Pennsylvania. I am also licensed in Maryland. 

I was born in Belgium and came to live to the US 25 years ago (I also speak French). I fell in love with the world of psychiatric care after my traumatic divorce 10 years ago.

I always had an interest in holistic approaches in addressing physical and mental health. I completed my undergraduate degree at West Chester University and received my Masters Degree from DeSales University. I’ve been working in psychiatry for the last 9 years. 

I started my private practice, Synergy Therapy because I wanted to offer my patients a comprehensive way to address their mental health beyond medication management only and offering longer appointments that would benefit a stronger collaboration and the ability to build a solid therapeutic relationship. My friends describe me as authentic, funny, outspoken and honest. 

I am also intuitive, caring, ambitious, and passionate. I am the mother of 4 adult children and I have been happily divorced for 10 years. Outside of my practice, I love latin dance, karaoke singing, traveling, working out and spending time with my 8 grandchildren.
